About Nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma
Nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma (nBCC) is a common type of skin cancer that usually appears as a small, pink or flesh-colored bump on the face, head, or neck. It is the most common type of skin cancer in adults.
If left untreated, nBCC can grow larger and invade surrounding tissues, causing disfigurement and other complications. Early detection and treatment are crucial for successful outcomes.
Study Design
Study will last up to 12 weeks, with one weekly treatment for three weeks and two follow-up visits.
Subjects undergoing screening for the study can start up to 28 days before Day 1, during which study requirements are reviewed, informed consent is obtained, and eligibility is assessed. If necessary, subjects undergo a washout period for prohibited medications.
Pre-Screening Biopsy may be performed for subjects lacking histological confirmation of the Target Lesion.
The study comprises several visits including screening, baseline/treatment, follow-ups, and excision visits, with assessments such as physical examinations, vital signs, laboratory tests, and lesion evaluations performed at each visit. The study concludes with post-excision follow-ups.
Qualified participants will receive compensation for their time and travel.
